Accessing own data, correcting and deleting data

Everyone has the right to access the personal data collected about him or her. To this end, a digitally signed application must be sent to RMK. Signing is needed to establish the identity of the person. Personal data is provided to the individual only. Personal data shall only be released to third parties if there is a statutory right to do so.

The data shall be provided in the manner indicated on the application (on paper or digitally) no later than within 30 calendar days from the calendar day following its registration. Upon issuing the data on paper, RMK may require up to EUR 0.19 to cover the costs of duplication for each page issued after 21 pages.

Everyone has the right to demand the rectification of inaccurate personal data.

If RMK has no statutory basis for the use of personal data, the person has the right to demand the termination or deletion of their use.

Where RMK is processing personal data on the basis of consent, the data subject has the right to withdraw the consent at any time. The withdrawal of consent shall not affect the lawfulness of processing of personal data that occurred before the withdrawal.

If a person finds that RMK violates his or her rights when processing the data, he or she shall have the right to appeal to the Data Protection Inspectorate (via e-mail info@aki.ee, phone 5620 2341 or at Tatari 39, 10134 Tallinn) or the court.
